Police Officer
 
All applicants to the Stickney Police Department must meet the following minimum requirements.  Please review these requirements carefully!
$35.00 non-refundable application fee.
Applicants MUST submit proof that they have passed the POWER Test at NIPSTA (northeaster IL Public Safety Training Academy) within one (1) year PRIOR to Dec. 14, 2011.***
**IF you do NOT have a POWER TEST card issued by NIPSTA, register ASAP for the POWER test assessment on November 19, 2011 and November 21, 2011.  Call 847.998.8030 or visit www.nipsta.org
U.S. Citizen
High School Diploma or GED (college diploma/transcripts NOT a substitute).
Valid Driver's License
21 to UNDER 35 years of age on December 14, 2011 unless otherwise exempt by Statute.
No felony convictions
Completion and submission of an online application by noon on December 14, 2011.  You will receive a confirmation number when your application is complete.  Save this for your records.
Release forms and other requested documents must be received by noon on Dec. 14. 2011.  Be certain to review the checklist and submit all required items.
